Who is it for?

Any one over the age of 12 years old (with parental consent). You should be a comfortable swimmer and in good health.

Do you want to be part of your own fairy tale? Join our SSI Mermaid program and immerse yourself in the magical world of mermaids! Learn exciting new skills, increase your comfort, and get ready to explore the underwater world in a mermaid tail. This mermaid training provides all the skills and techniques you need to maximise your mermaid experience, be truly comfortable in the water and get the most out of your equipment. 

You will receive a certification from SSI.

Location

In the classroom and pool or confined water at Porthkerris Dive Centre.

Days start at 9.00 am and you will be finished by around 4 pm.

Class Size

Minimum 2 people, maximum 4 people per instructor in open water, max 6 in the pool.

Minimum Age

12 years old. Prerequisite medical and liability release forms.

Price and Booking

£250 including certification, course materials, pool, hire of equipment.

Bring a friend to the same course and you will both get 10% off.

If you take our ocean mermaid course in the same weekend as SSI mermaid, we offer a combined course price of £380 for both mermaid and ocean mermaid.
We take a deposit of 50% which is non refundable or transferable to another date. If you cancel within one week of your booking, the full payment is due.
