Who is it for?
This workshop is for qualified freedivers SSI level 2 or equivalent who want to try no fins or improve their techniques. For the no fin freediver pool certification, SSI pool freediver certification is a prerequisite.
Outline
The SSI no-fins specialty course starts with a theory and stretching session, and then progress to the pool. Once the pool part is complete, you have the option to add 2 dives in open water to gain the pool and depth no-fins specialty certification.
Duration
For the no-fins pool specialty 1 day, theory and stretching followed by a pool session. For the no-fins depth specialty add a second day to complete 2 open water dives.
Location
We will start at Porthkerris dive centre for theory and stretching then move on to the pool afterwards.
Class Size
Minimum 2 maximum 6 people per instructor in the pool and 4 in open water.
Minimum Age
Minimum age 16 years old, prerequisite medical and liability release.
